Just curious, have most of your dogs been boys, girls or a mix? My wife and I had both only had females until we inherited a four year old male Australian Shepherd. Since then we've alternated between boys and girls when there was a hole in the pack. It surprised me to learn how much more easy going they are. Good looking boy you have there.

When we traveled to Queensland in June this year , we traveled out of our way to go through the state of Victoria that joins South Australia

I thought these old shops that are (still being used) were nice ..forgot the name of the town I’ve got other photos of the towns name I’ll look up

I agree and I have nothing but appreciation for brick and mortar stores now. I hate having to go through Amazon for every little thing.

Thanks Mark :)
I've had both male and female dogs. I had to say good-bye to my last female, Sugar, in 2021 after 15yrs.
Sugar had raised Mason from a pup. She was 5yrs old when I got Mason.
When referring to them I used to say either "my girl dog" or "my boy dog" depending which I was speaking of.
Old habit. Now that Sugar is gone, I still often refer to Mason as "my boy dog". Mason turned 13 in September.

Sugar ... my girl dog ;)

Didn’t take any photos in our walk yesterday , it was way too windy .
We had a fairly warm day Thursday (for spring) then had a horrific storm some are calling a tornado which we never get ….it knocked out our power for 12 hours …so we did this walk yesterday after that storm ☔

Since it was such a calm day today we headed down to the beach. It’s low tide.

The township put in a boat launch this past summer. It’s one of the places we go to launch our small fishing boat.

It was a lovely walk this morning. It’s been a while since we’ve done this beach walk.

It’s evening. There’s 12 hours difference between us.
Look what my hubby did …he picked a bunch of roses out of our garden for me …oh course they are a bit battered from the wind and rain ....

it’s very much limestone areas …I’ll post a photo of the cliffs that are along the part of the beach close to my home.

where we did the 4.75 km walk a couple of days ago that’s white sand./ sand dunes …no cliffs …...but it won’t look very white now after the storms we’ve had

DH always picks me flowers if we have any in the garden ..he picks a bit of fern to add to them to make them look pretty …..the poor roses are out the front so they have had a real battering from the wind and rain

The yellow rose..

The pink one you can just see in photo (in vase ) is beautiful it’s pink and white ..if i think of it I’ll take a photo when it gets more flowers in it ..

Your man is such a romantic guy. He dances with you regularly. What a lovely thing to do. Does he help look after the flowers too?
What did you two do on your wedding anniversary? Does he cook for you too?
