A Nice Walk ( with photos )

Today we walked in the provincial park. We saw 2 people with 3 dogs and waited for them to get into their cars before we got out.
We walked up the hill and around to the roadway. It’s approximately 3 kilometres.

Here is the firewood split for this years campers. The entire building is filled with firewood.

We saw lots of deer today. Most of them coming out to the road. The last pictures are deer on our property. They seem to visit us every time we go for a walk. I know they are attracted to our land due to my husband cutting down trees. They like the top of the tree buds to eat and have been hanging around due to that.

Note: I forgot my phone in the car today so used my husbands. It’s really not the same. All the boat pictures I took came out blurry. I like my phone so much better.

Have a lovely day.

Thank you seadoug. It’s my favourite part of the day. When your husband retires do you think you’ll get a dog? I know you have 2 cats already. I think that you’ll love it when your husband retires. You’ll have nothing holding you back.
No, our cats will be around for a while and I know a dog will freak at least one of them out. I had a Beagle named Happy when I was 9 years old and she developed distemper at 6 months old. It broke my heart. I've always had cats since then. It is difficult enough letting go of a cat, but dogs love so unconditionally I don't think I would ever get over it.

Today we went to the battery again. It was 9 degrees and sunny. We saw 2 other people walking in the park as well as 2 other people working at the park.

I didn’t take many pictures today. This is the road we walked down.

When we got home there were 3 deer eating our front grass. When we came up the driveway we saw them leaving but they stayed on the driveway for a while to check us out. Lol! 😂

There was a mother and her two little ones.
These two looked like twins. There’s something about deer that really makes you appreciate nature.

Have a good day.
Today my husbands now out back cutting trees down for firewood. We need 4 chords of wood which is 24 to 30 trailer full loads.

Your pictures are exceptional as always. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, dogs DO love us unconditionally and when they die, it’s devastating. I cry for weeks. It’s so heart breaking. Then again, they usually live for a long time giving us such dedicated love.

Today we had to go into town so we did our shorter Forest walk. It’s our shortest walk out of all our walks. It’s only 2 1/2 kilometres long.
It was cloudy with sunny intervals and 10 degrees Celsius. Today we both ended up doing a bit of trail maintenance. Two small trees were down over the pathway so we moved them out of the way for others. Here are the pictures I took.
