What’s that Wombat?

No, our cats will be around for a while and I know a dog will freak at least one of them out. I had a Beagle named Happy when I was 9 years old and she developed distemper at 6 months old. It broke my heart. I've always had cats since then. It is difficult enough letting go of a cat, but dogs love so unconditionally I don't think I would ever get over it.Thank you seadoug. It’s my favourite part of the day. When your husband retires do you think you’ll get a dog? I know you have 2 cats already. I think that you’ll love it when your husband retires. You’ll have nothing holding you back.
Today we went to the battery again. It was 9 degrees and sunny. We saw 2 other people walking in the park as well as 2 other people working at the park.
I didn’t take many pictures today. This is the road we walked down.

When we got home there were 3 deer eating our front grass. When we came up the driveway we saw them leaving but they stayed on the driveway for a while to check us out. Lol!![]()

There was a mother and her two little ones.
These two looked like twins. There’s something about deer that really makes you appreciate nature.
Have a good day.
Today my husbands now out back cutting trees down for firewood. We need 4 chords of wood which is 24 to 30 trailer full loads.

Yeah, dogs DO love us unconditionally and when they die, it’s devastating. I cry for weeks. It’s so heart breaking. Then again, they usually live for a long time giving us such dedicated love. No, our cats will be around for a while and I know a dog will freak at least one of them out. I missed this post altogether. That third picture looks like bats. Is that what flying foxes are? I looked it up and sure enough they are fruit bats. They are HUGE though. We don’t have bats that big here.A few Galahs grazing on the verge.
