Americans are critical of their politicians but we Australians also have our crosses to bear.
Recently our former PM was deposed in a palace coup - that can happen under our system - but he remains in parliament as the elected Member for the Sydney seat of Warringah. He is suffering from relevance deprivation, can't seem to find any fat directorships and has put his name on the list of available speakers for $40,000 a pop.
Currently he is in the UK and has given a speech to UK Conservatives about what Europe has to do to deal with the flood of immigrants and asylum seekers moving in from the ME war zones.
