A rambling intro into a life gone sideways.

Hi all, Just turned 81 and am currently housebound because of all the mess over the coronavirus. Just having someone to chat with now and then would be a grand miracle rather than just pestering my daughter all the time. My basic activities when i'm inside are watching movies on Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+, Playing rpg games, Learning music and leaning songs on the Merlin Dulcimer. And generally just trying to keep myself occupied. I recently lost my spouse of 60 years and there's a kind of hollow spot there now. I'm not going to be able to fill that any time soon but new friends can help ease the sense of loss. Anyway. I found this site and thought it might be a good fit. Thanks for reading this far into a rather rambling post. May the wind always be at your back.

Welcome Candlesong! I love the sound of the dulcimer. It must be difficult to learn. Where are you located? Many folk from around the globe on this forum, which makes it interesting.

Welcome, Candlesong! :)

Thank you for writing that very nice introduction, for us. After reading it, we can feel like we know you a little bit, already, and we are glad to have you join us, here!

You could look at our Games section, and join in, there, or anyplace else on our forum.
We share ideas on both the difficult stuff in life, and on very light topics, too.

It's a great idea to add us to your list of ways you try to do your best, each day. I hope you find this a helpful and pleasant addition!
