I was just wondering if the Mods and admin would be so kind as to delete members that have died.
Recently, I put a Birthday post up for toomuchstuff,only to find out that she passed away a few years back.

I don't want to add to your workload, and I really appreciate all that you do in this forum and online community.

How can one tell when a member's last post was HD? There are so many categories and threads. Toomuchstuff posted a thread in 2017 but how would we know that was the last thread she ever posted? I notice the profile pages tell when the person joined but not when they last visited the site. What am I missing?

OED...click on my name... ( then click on my name again, then click on 'Postings'')..and you'll see the last post I made...

Update: Tish. Matrix and myself plan on working on changing the title of deceased members to reflect they are gone when members check their profiles.

It won't happen overnight, but changes will be made as time permits.

I agree with one of the other post, how would someone know if a member has passed? If I have not posted in a year does not mean I passed away..I just was busy with life. Not sure about any of the other members but I don't have anyone's email, etc. to let anyone know I am hospitalized. I so enjoy this site but if I passed away no one would know. If anyone can share something I am missing, it would be great. Again, I love this site and the Moderators are doing a wonderful job. šŸ’“

Well if you haven't posted in a year you're hardly likely to see a Birthday wish thread.. :LOL:

No one would know about me either, Ladybj.

I have granted no one else access to my login info.

I am close to a couple of members here and if I were to get sick I would definitely advise so they could relay.

I may pass along my log in info to my daughter. She don't take it too well when I share important info with her "just in case". But she understand.

It'sa good idea... I've been here 7 and a half years and no-one has my log-in so if I just stop posting .. many of my friends here have my email address, and several have my phone number as well so if they get no reply from those they'll know I've fallen off my perch!

At some point, I would like to exchange phone numbers with someone on the site. Nothing like just having someone to keep in touch to make sure you have not fallen off the perch.. šŸ™ƒ
