A sad day to day.Radish Rose has passed away

This is the worst moment of my time here at SF. I don’t want to believe it. Rose is too wonderful and fabulous to lose.
Sudden. I hope she had no suffering.
Witty. Bright. Funny. Smart. Kind.

Anyone who knew Rose will miss her forever.
She loved her family so much.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to them.
Missing you already. Fantastic dame. Down to earth broad. One of a kind.

We hadn’t talked on the phone in a while, but she was the sweetest person to know…. always caring and loving.

Thank you @jet for letting us know.
I am in shock over this news this morning.

Loving thoughts go out to her son and extended family…. She was such a wonderful presence in the lives of her grandsons and great grandson.

I knew something was wrong when she stopped her daily posting to funny threads.

I loved her unusual pictures that she posted. Just seeing her on here all the time made my day.

I like creative people and she showed a lot of creativity.

I especially liked her consistent use of (some blonde British actress who's name escapes me but is pictured above) as her avatar.

One of my favorite SF members. I will miss her.

This news comes as such a shock. Losing someone who brought warmth, humor, and kindness into a community leaves a very real ache. When someone mattered, the words feel like they should somehow measure up to the person — and that’s a tall order.

It’s hard to put into words what Radish Rose meant to this forum. She wasn’t just a familiar name on our screens — she was a bright, funny, thoughtful presence who made this place feel warmer and more human. Her wit could lift a thread, her kindness could steady a person, and her creativity always added a spark that was uniquely hers.

What stands out most is how deeply she was appreciated. You didn’t have to know her personally to feel her goodness. It came through in every post — the humor, the empathy, the down‑to‑earth charm. She had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued, and that’s a rare gift.

She will be missed by all of us. Missed in the daily threads where her voice was part of the rhythm here. Missed in the laughter she sparked. Missed in the gentle wisdom she shared without ever making anyone feel small.

Our hearts go out to her family, who she spoke of with such love and pride. May they find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched, and how fondly she will be remembered.

Rest in peace, dear Rose. Thank you for the light you brought into this little corner of the world.

RIP RadishRose

This is very very sad, I always enjoyed reading her posts. She was a big reason why I would always like to drop by the forum in the morning with my coffee. Here is a picture she posted that I don't know why, but struck a cord with me, I saved it and have enjoyed it from time to time.
Thank you Radish Rose, Peace & Love Always.. 💕
