A walk in central london on a typical day in October

here ya go... Christmas week...in fact just last night in Bond Street central London...

Wow, these are so neat, @hollydolly; thanks for sharing them! I just may get on the treadmill downstairs (of my building) after all.

Bond Street looks so clean!

London is at the top of my travel list. I've never been there, but I very much hope to visit someday soon.

People always say to me about how clean central London is.. and seem surpised, but generally we're a clean country... and certainly the city is kept as clean as they can, because well, it's a pride thing.. first and foremost and then we have visitors from all over the world...

There are partd of the country where things have got horribly rundown.. but that happens in most countries, but the city of london is not one of them

I really hope you get to visit us here... one day !(y)

In the States, drivers—in the bigger cities, at least—likely would just run them down. :sneaky: It's nice to know things are a bit more civil over there.

In my younger days I had a bumper sticker on my car that said "So many pedestrians, so little time." (I've grown up since then. ;) )
Pedestrians have the right of way here...
