People always say to me about how clean central London is.. and seem surpised, but generally we're a clean country... and certainly the city is kept as clean as they can, because well, it's a pride thing.. first and foremost and then we have visitors from all over the world...

In my younger days I had a bumper sticker on my car that said "So many pedestrians, so little time." (I've grown up since then.
They're supposed to have it here, too; I recall learning in Driver's Ed that "the pedestrian always has the right of way," but in DC and NYC, for example—forget it: It's every man for himself. Kinda sad, really.
