This was about a book plus photos, so thought I'd post it here so maybe others would like to add their "reading" adventures with photos. While I was reading, it was like being there. I wanted to be there, so I googled some of the places, and found photos. It was really fun, especially about some of the people she met and what they did for a living
The book is called The Tooth in Time, by Sue Henry, and Sue has a series on a senior sleuth named Maxie, and her faithful side-kick Stretch her mini dachsund. This book had them traveling in her Mini-Winnie as she lives in Alaska, and likes to go South some Winters
1. The Tooth in Time, New Mexico
2. Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
3. Dyeing then drying the wool for weaving.
4. Working the loom to create the designs
5. Final Products in a shop much like the one Maxie visits in her adventure.
