We had a Costco store open in Adeliade about a month ago the first in South Australia, (will have to google to find out what other states in Australia have an Costco.)
The reason I thought about posting this is mainly about petrol as we call it, but it's called Gasoline at the Costco service station right near their new warehouse it's really good for us, as a little competition is always good in our eyes, prior to them opening recently we were paying about the $1.50 a litre for petrol but since they opened we have been only paying $1.18. A litre.
As far as the food and other items they sell we are amazed by the sizes of many items, one item comes to mind a 5kg jar of Nutella you would need a shovel to get to the bottom of that
We have never seen or been in store that sells TV's in one section and food in the other sections it's huge
How many members maybe shop in or have a Costco !??
Prior to them opening we only had Woolworths, Coles and Foodland stores, Aldi are in the process of building a warehouse which is expected to open in 2016 we have never had them here either, I like to shop at Aldi for certain things when we go to Queensland on holidays in the winter months
Queensland daytime winter temptures are about 25c in S.A it can get as low as 10c daytime here we normally go to Queenland for a month we say it's a little kinder on the poor ole bones getting away from the cold for a short break
