Aeronautical University Student Planned A Massacre Like Columbine

Thank God students who had seen his social media posts about it alerted police. He was arrested shortly before the planned shooting was to take place...during finals that morning. This has gotten to be just too common. It's so disturbing to realize that this is part of our new "normal"!

I don't think it's part of the "new normal" as in Covid. This sort of thing has happened before. Luckily, this time, two students who had seen John Hagins' Snapchat social media account told campus officials, who called the police, who caught the guy:

As "nuts" as our society is becoming, everyone needs to be on alert for actions/statements/etc., from those around them, and report it to the proper authorities. This nutcase appears to have been ready to commit another mass shooting, and those who reported him probably saved many lives.

A friend of my daughter's texted her and told her he was going to shoot up their high school. She called me, and I told her go to the office and, if they didn't immediately call the police. They did. The guy's parent's came. They agreed to get him counseling. The police questioned my daughter about it. And the guy was back in school the next day.

Outside of the pandemic, acts of domestic terrorism by “true believers” have become the greatest threat to our lives and our nation. Even a “lone wolf” can do incredible damage, spread immobilizing fear, and destabilize institutions while inspiring “copycats…”
