Isn't this a civil case only at this point though? Civil court cannot jail him.

And [what he did wrong] wasn't criminal [as I understand it] ....... maybe it should have been ?

People that obtain that sort of wealth usually know all the tricks of keeping it.

Yes, these people broken hearted from losing a beloved child, were accused by that idiot's supporters, of pretending that they had a child that was killed. I blame one person and one person only for stirring up so much hatred in this country, and giving so much power to people with hate in their hearts. But since this is a non political forum, I'll just refer to him as, "He who shall not be mentioned".

Yes, it's a civil case. I would just like to see him in jail. That wish has nothing to do with legal opinion. I would just be happy to see him in jail. However, I think hiding assets to defraud your creditors is against the law. Maybe this civil suit will set the stage for that.

I know.

A guy called into KGO news talk radio before it's demise and said he went down these conspiracy rabbit holes and got his dad into it. He finally had a revelation that it was nuts but can't get his dad turned around. His dad is still into it and he feels guilty for it.

Two of the former hosts are starting YouTube channels. Some channels can get a lot of subscribers. I don't know how they will do.

To watch the parents even now 10 years after their children were killed, sob in court like their hearts were going to break... because of this piece of lowlife excrement... was heartbreaking... and whatever happens this POS should be MADE to pay in one way or the other, he cannot be allowed to not recompense these victims ..

1. Does anybody really think the Sandy Hook parents will ever see a dime?
2. Besides being a nut-job, does anybody know why Jones waged a war over the Sandy Hook killings? Yeah, I can understand making some snarky, crummy comments, etc, for a time, but Jones made this a cottage industry. Why???

Money, subscribers, fame, attention, etc.

I doubt the parents will get much. Jmo. Maybe future wage garnishments? Like the Goldman's who won the civil suit against OJ Simpson, they did manage to get OJ's Heisman trophy and probably sold that, but not much more.

NO idea, and I doubt we'll ever find out because he denies he was in the wrong... but of course he did it for Infamy and Money from Idiot followers..
 
It says a lot about today's society that someone like Alex Jones could have such a large and dedicated following that he can earn millions from spewing hatred and lies. It's not like he's the only one out there doing that. Rush Limbaugh was one of the original provocateurs beginning in the '80s with talk radio, I believe, and it's gotten worse and worse.

We're living in a sick society.

This has always seemed like the big draw for most conspiracy theory nuts. It's like they have this secret place on the world wide web, where they gain knowledge of something that is only known on their secret place, which apparently get's it's inside knowledge from sources that cannot be found anywhere. So they become part of a select group that knows something that no one else does... and it's always shocking... like gossip.
