All Things Relating to Christmas

@officerripley, you reminded me that my daughter wanted nothing to do with Santa ... ever.

The funniest encounter was when the Big Guy walked past a window & spotted her sitting inside a restaurant when she was 4. He backed up & came inside to talk to her. She immediately was looking around for an escape route (didn't exist) & if I don't look at him, he won't see me sitting here trying to ignore him. Everyone was looking at her since she was the only kid in there. He talked to her & she didn't say a word & he gave her a candy cane. Needless to say she was relieved when he left. But the expression on her face was priceless for my husband & I. We still talk about it.

Now the Easter bunny is a different story, LOL.

I am surprised at how many Christmas movies and shows are continuously rerun on TV. With all there are to choose from, why have an "Elf" or "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" marathon?
Also this year it seems the ones I'd like to see are on at the most inconvenient times.
