Well there was the JFK assassination and Trump's assassination attempts.A lot of Americans would love to see various US political leaders ousted. Does that mean it'd be ok for China, Russia or other countries to kidnap and remove them?
That is a valid question. Some situations more clear cut or deserving than others.Lilac, those drugs are being imported from many other countries also. So should we fly around bombing the whole world?
Those were my thoughts as well.Another war for oil.![]()
Looks like the CIA was there for a while.
I thought that too. Why didn't the population there effect change. I decided to look up how things were done there.I always hate it when we interfere in another country. Let the people of that country, get rid of their dictator.
I suspect not. Maduro appropriated successful businesses such as that. And all the regular ol' businesses as well.I think the oil money during Manduro’s term went to the state run oil company.
I'm very certain of that.I guess the President had his hands in it.
Word has it Venezuela's military generals asked for a specific type of interference. One that the US is really good at.I always hate it when we interfere in another country. Let the people of that country, get rid of their dictator.
There is currently a massive uprising in Iran. The people are working on ousting their supreme leader, or whatever the title. The US has offered assistance if needed. But the Iranians seem to be doing a bang-up job on their own. (last I checked)I thought that too. Why didn't the population there effect change. I decided to look up how things were done there.
HRW on Maduro's dictatorship: 'He has killed, tortured, detained and forcefully disappeared people'
The rights organization published a 104-page report exposing the systematic repression that keeps the regime in power. The organization urges the international community to "press to hold the Maduro government accountable for its atrocities."
HRW on Maduro's dictatorship: 'He has killed, tortured, detained and forcefully disappeared people'
Then there are headlines showing millions celebrating what has happened.
I'm still of the wait & see mode.
No matter where it originates from, when it's funneled through your own ports and borders by the mega-tons, it's a good idea to attend to it.That is a valid question. Some situations more clear cut or deserving than others.
Where , literally where is the line drawn between in-action and action when it comes to various countries. No one country should even have to be the world's policemen let alone deserve 'the job'. And there will situations where third parties should stay out of a country's business.
Not Venezuela, their president. The Venezuelan People aren't into getting cozy with regimes that even vaguely threaten their rights and freedoms.Just a side note some didn't like the way Venezuela was starting to cozy up to the likes of Chine or Iran which them an even 'bigger' target.
What a simple solution! (I'm jokingMaybe we can move Israel to Venezuela. They'd make that region prosperous. Then the Arabs in the Middle East can just fight each other instead of fighting Israel.
Israel is about the size of New Jersey and Venezuela is about the size of Texas, so there's plenty of room.
The celebrations were worldwide, and many in the US.Just by a coincidence a resident in a totalitarian regime has USA shirt and a brand new flag/s of the country which the old regime controlled with an iron fist?
Probably right after the pardon is issued.ya reckon Maduro will live at Mar A Lago??
He also has warrants awaiting on him.The original U.S. federal indictment of Maduro was in March 2020. That was public, and it's been sitting there for almost six years with no action taken.
The 2020 indictment is here and somewhat detailed - UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK
There is a NEW indictment following up on the first. It was unsealed today, but has not been posted
