An Idea For OG

Awww, dat's so cute!

Great idea, to boot - no more bending!

... for the human, I mean.

ETA: I'm going to make one of those for SnagglePuss - he'll probably get his head trapped in it and die happy. :p

Kinda looks like they're getting orders from the crew up on deck. Sailor chicks . . .

That would work if you could keep them from sitting on top of the pipe openings. Otherwise, they'd be dropping some nasty stuff in their food. :noway:

Jilly, That's pretty ingenious for a home made feeder. It looks brand new, like the rest of the coop. It won't be long before it's not so pristine white. Chickens as I am finding out are non discriminate poopers.
This is what I have and it hangs from the ceiling. They're not likely to perch on it unless they want to use it for a swing:)Mine has a lid so I can fill it up with about ten pounds of feed and call it good for a while.

Di, I like the chocolate idea...think you could get that patent before Valentines Day? I figure it could probably hold about a years supply of choccy's and be good to go until next Valentine. One tube for chocolate cremes, one for chocolate nut clusters ...etc!Snow 2-3-14 007.jpg

Must admit i do like the one you use as it gets it off the floor , no poop and hopefully no mice in it, we used one the same when we had chickens. As far as using it for choccy i can't help but think about how those wretched mice would party in there.
Just a thought a gumball machine where you twist the handle and one comes out would work better, and no vermin can get in.

I like the wagon one too...I could move in there in my daughters back yard, with just a few modifications.

hey there ya go.... your own chicken tractor... something that is mobile so you can peck around in new ground and have a new view of the farm. Fresh new bugs... plus, all the chicken scratch you can cram down your gullet! what a deal...

of course, you'll have to choose between being a layer or a broiler......
