Adams has had his chance, and he decided to come down on the side of the criminals. More and more people will stay away from NYC (and NY state as indicated by the exodus of successful people to less taxed states). Adams won't change. He must follow the political course determined by the federal government.
Sorry to hear you are there by necessity. It is a tough kind of prison to live in every day.
 
The high tax states support not only the low tax loser states, but the whole federal government. Massachusetts is also a high tax state. When I lived in New Hampshire, we may have called you Taxachusetts, but we used you for most of our cultural activities. Massachusetts supplied what NH couldn't.

So I get the cute naming of Massachusetts, but that doesn't make your claim factual.
So, you are telling me NY State is paying for Florida? Where population is booming and money is flowing in?
Based on current events, your fav mayor Adams, is begging the federal government to provide funds to pay for they sanctuary city status for the homeless. Meaning, us taxpayers, across the country will be paying NYC for their poor planning.
So where does NY pay for other states?

It's the politicians that don't even want to enforce no loitering laws. All the police had to do is break up a small crowd before all this started. Didn't have to ticket or arrest just tell them to move long.

Although this mob did cause just as much havoc dispersing/leaving the area. Vandalizing, tresspassing and harassing food establishments. They apparently threw plates. I doubt for many in this crowd it wasn't their first time by themselves or in a mob behaving badly.

Why do you bait? Why do you say things like "fav mayor" in a derogatory way? It so happens he is not my fav mayor. It is a fact that Taxachusetts is a common nickname given to Massachusetts and I don't like it, never did. NH has none of the cultural opportunities or world class medical facilities like Mass. They couldn't seem to put the two together. Florida? It will be the biggest laughingstock of the world pretty soon if it isn't already.

Ah yes, Sippi, all the intelligent, sane people in New York are fleeing to Florida, which now has the only cases of leprosy(!) and malaria in the U.S.. due to a lack of decent medical care and research. And almost a third of the NY population plan to leave in the next five years?

Gee, the young professionals I know (including some in my own family) who have recently moved to New York, in love with the city and its excitement and opportunities, must be living in a different universe. Someone should tell them they are totally wrong to love their home, and they should join the exodus to Florida.

Great example of the nonsensical lies being promulgated by the politicians who need an ignorant mob of followers. If you sincerely believe this nonsense, and are not just trolling, I suggest you switch to a more factual newspaper than the Daily Mail.

That wasn't derogatory at all. You stated you wanted to give him a chance, so it seems you approve of his actions.
So the nickname......so? no one gives credence to that nickname anymore, just people living in the past.
Current events dictate differently.
So you are complaining that Massachusetts has the best medical facilities in the country? Sounds like other states need to 'up their game' rather than tear down the successful states.

Well Sunny, facts are facts. You can disagree with them, but they are still facts. They are not lies when they are based on accounting records from both states. You can believe they are lies, and thats acceptable in 'your world', but not in reality.
Just because you have family and friends that live there doesn't make up any significant measurement relating to the thousands leaving.
 
They broke into the BLM chant because they thought they
would have to pay for the damage they caused.
So if they used a "cause" that was not intended for such a purpose, they thught they would get off scot-free.

Maryland does win the highest award for trying to tax rain.....that was so funny, and an example of government trying to maintain their 'fix' on taking money from taxpayers.
