Animal Cruelty: There's a Special Place in Hell

Animal Cruelty at all times is abhorrent and disgusting. There has to be a special place in hell for them, and if you don't believe in hell, a special place on this Earth.

Then there is - well, things that just go beyond.

DO NOT READ THE LINKED ARTICLE IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO ANIMAL CRUELTY.

Alone with the pain and suffering of the animal in question, and the sickness of the perpetrator, it's the contagion of deprivation of the human spirit that occurs that makes it even worse. This story (linked to a BBC story in this post) beggars belief. I mean, you read it and you can't believe one person would have done this, but it was international! This all comes from the deepesy, darkest, void of humanity. These people are human skins walking around devoid of anything redeeming quality. I hate them so much!!!

Ringleader of global monkey torture network, 'The Torture King', is charged

I thought you were against putting click bait on here.? There are hundreds of stories everyday about this. Shame on you. :)

All the responses are of the same feeling. "This is terrible." More of the same ol' share how awful some humans can be to animals - thread.

The only animals I can think of off the top of my head is I think I saw killer whales play volleyball with a seal before they ate it. Animals are mostly all business ie basic survival. Has basic survival become too easy for humans as harsh as it is for some in many places?

Clickbait? I apologize if this story was already posted, I only read it today, and I haven't seen it here previously.

This story goes beyond Animal Cruelty, it's a Snuff movie for monkeys - where people pay to have the animals tortured in Asia. Totally shocking to me.

Still, again, apologies if it was already posted.

I think this is a symptom of the world we currently live in. It's also another dark room the internet has enabled.

I'm glad that guy and his disgusting cohorts got caught and I hope that they seriously never get out of jail. Probably too much to hope for though because the judicial system everywhere seems to always have the attitude that 'they're only animals'. I would hope that the system follows his 'deliveries' and goes after those monsters too, but that's probably also too much to hope for.

I saw that on the BBC today and I refrained from posting it because I don't want the criminals to get any p[ress.

Another thread asked us if we were glad we grew up before the Internet invaded our homes. THIS is one reason why I feel bad for our kids and teens these days. What decent person even needs to know these kinds of sick scumbags exist?

Now, some thousands of 13-year-olds will be surfing online and find out these kinds of criminals exist.

Then the politicians ponder why so many of today's young people are anxious as can be.

You're correct. Take pornography as an example. It's always existed, but there were gateways to access it. For example, who would sell you it? As a early teen, getting hold of porn would have been very difficult.

Today? It's a Google search.

@VaughanJB You sound a bit obsessed about the topic of protecting online porn, no matter what. You have now brought that topic into another thread.

I came here to say there can also be a special place in PRISON for the people who perpetrated these crimes and also those who profited from it.

If you want to obsess about solving or not solving the porn problem online, WRITE TO CONGRESS. I have no power. Write to them if you want them to see the Internet as you do. Waste all your time trying to persuade them.

I'm sorry, but this sounds a little obsessional.

When have I been "a bit obsessed about the topic of protecting online porn"? In fact, when have I ever said pornography should be "protected"? I've said it can't be stopped, and that's simply factual - unless you know something the rest of the world doesn't. If so, let's hear it.

As for the mention in this thread, I was simply giving another example of how the net has changed the world. It's not an obsession about pornography, it's simply another issue we're all familiar with and that happens to have been addressed on the forum recently.

In fact - YOU now seem to be obsessed with pornography, and/or my own opinion on it. :D

The Internet has brought about a lot of changes to our society, and among them is access to all things. Some of those things were previously banned, or controlled through laws. I'll give you another simple example, since pornography seems to clutter your thoughts - censorship of violence in movies. In the UK we had a thing called the "Video Nasties". These were films thought too violent and offensive to release uncut in the country. Uncut versions went for lots of money and were collectable. But then came the internet, and you could import them from anywhere in the world. Suddenly, they weren't just available to people in the UK, but they were cheap! Do you want more examples?

Want more? Illegal drugs. If you know your way around, you can find places to buy ANY illegal drug you could name. All mailed to your home. Illicit drugs have never been more available. Happy now?

WTH!!! I don't understand why this thread has gone sideways, but just from the title of your topic, I wanted to respond. I hope there is a special place in hell for people who torture and kill animals. I see stories of people abandoning kittens by the side of busy roads where they could easily wander off and be run over. I just don't get it. Seems it would be just as easy to drop them off at a shelter or a safer location. I won't read the story you posted about because it sounds very disturbing. It's even more disturbing that there are humans who want to see that type of thing!
