I love to take pictures of animals, I'm fortunate to live in a semi rural area where there's lots of farms and small holdings .. and in the village ponds and rivers we have a myriad of wildlife, and also my own family pets .. so I get to enjoy taking the photos...

This is the one solitary Mandarin Duck is a feisty little devil among the local Mallards.. but he's beautiful so he gets a pass .. lol... here are a few taken over the months

He'd just been in a big fight with 5 much bigger Mallards which I watched.. goodness he is feisty. ..he has real small man's/ducks' syndrome , but he did retreat to hide under a big bunch of brush and reeds, exhausted.. out of sight of the other ducks.. but not from me..

I can't tell you how much I had to zoom in to capture this Heron.. he was sitting at the top of a Tree on the opposite side of the river bank..

Fortunately I had my camera and not my phone otherwise he would have become a big blur...

These photos of the Peacocks were taken in Spain. The peacocks, the chickens and roosters, the rabbits.. white rabbits too.. all run very semi tame in the parks.. untethered, or caged in...

That's Lips, a female, she and her offspring are frequent visitors to my backyard. We are on their daily milk run. Wish I could get the full file to upload, but sadly got to reduce the file size a before it would load.
