Not only is my garden area completely fenced but it is covered too because the squirrels easily climb fences. Still, the squirrels never give up. They study the fence and make different attempts to find a way in. When it comes to tenacity you just got to admire the squirrels.

Like raccoons, squirrels have incredibly dexterity and determination.

My parents lived about a 100 yards from their pond that was up a hill and out of sight from their house. They went to the pond from time to time and floated around in a row boat. Their dachshund would jump out and swim after the geese for fun.

During one terrible winter storm they heard tapping on their glass door. They opened it and the geese walked in, incased in ice. After a few minutes the ice slid off them in sheets and they went back to the door and flew away.
