Another Bombing-Istanbul Airport - Many Deaths and Injuries.

Just caught it on the news a minute ago. A pointless rant follows below.

When is enough going to be enough? These people are ruining the lives of people of all persuasions around the world.
Turkey is a Muslim country. Those all powerful multi-national corporations that we love to hate take a hit. We have NATO.
We have the UN. We have what's left of the EU. We have dozens of countries with superbly equipped armies. We have Muslims being discriminated against around the world because of these guys.
Why can't we get all of these interested parties together and exterminate this movement?

Yeah. I know. There are a million reasons, Its a silly rant with no possibility of it ever happening, but its mind boggling to me and I had to get it out.

Not surprised at all. I guess ours are not as clever. They don't seem quite as effective. Maybe they need the promise of those virgins.
Yeah. I know they're really raisins, but dumb is dumb.
 
When we went through Ataturk Airport (Istanbul) twice last year, I was extremely impressed with the amount of armed security they had. You had to go through one check point to get into the airport, then another one to get into the "terminal" and then a third one to get into your gate area. Apparently, there isn't enough armed security forces in the world to stop these maniacs.

This is the second spot in Istanbul that I have stood on that was later bombed. As much as I love Turkey and the Turkish people, it will be a long time before I return.....providing there's anything left to return to after the maniacs get through with it.

Damn the terrorists' souls to hell. I'm not a forgiving person. Twelve years of Sunday School apparently did not teach me to "love thy enemies."
 
I wonder what it's going to take before the U.S. says "enough" and does something about this.
 
The link that Phoenix gave in her comment actually lists the KKK as the oldest and largest hate group in America. They must have given up their sheets so they aren't as noticeable or else the media has just given up even a pretence at journalism or they've become an accepted part of the landscape and isn't that a sad statement.
 
Hate groups in the US aren't going blowing and shooting places up at the rate/on the same scale as other groups are. I think they said this 5th mass casualty attack in Turkey over the last year attributable to the same group-ISIS. They said the probably accelerated plans they had in place because significant leadership was taken out over the last few weeks. This attack was well organized. They said the bombs were probably ment for a last ditch effort after a shootout & standoff. Airport security apparently got after them pretty quick which forced their use of the bombs that much quicker.

I agree QuickSilver. We'd have to bomb all cities everywhere as well as all rural areas and the kids next door. There is no way to know who's going to go nuts next. And the more we swagger, the more they will bomb us.
