Another little item coming up. Seems like the magnetic poles are shifting and speeding up.

Fascinating. I am wondering whether this is a precursor to a reversal event. I don't suppose I will live long enough to find out.

I like the fact that our planet is so dynamic. It is the one of the reasons that life exists here at all.

If I understand it correctly, your directional instruments would be off. They are moving about 48 ks per year and speeding up.
Airplanes and ships would have to adjust their equipment, especially in long distance.
Doing some more reading on this one. Incredible night out there, crystal clear....
