I'm assuming you mean the USA.Eight dead so far. It's just another normal day. We have a culture of gun violence in this country.
Oh well, if that makes you feel better!I'm assuming you mean the USA.
You know who has a culture of gun violence? Almost every country south of the USA, and also South Africa. In those countries gun deaths are twice, three times, and six times higher than us.
Send lots of that to those other places, too. There's a lot of suffering there. It's why a lot of them come here.Thoughts, prayers and flowers.
Of course we care, mrstime. We're always pushing for solutions, we're just kind of split on the best course of action. About half of us want an end to our right to own guns, and about 100% of us want an end to early prison release of violent criminals, a crack-down on street-gang activity, better public education, and better, more effective psychiatric care, drug rehab, and family counseling. What else is new in the US? I am not surprised by any mass shootings any more, I used to feel sick but since Americans don't care neither do I.
If you really care you would have words with your politicians about the bribes from the NRA.Of course we care, mrstime. Many of us have words with our politicians regarding all the issues I mentioned. Seems to fall on deaf ears, especially when certain politicians are narrowly focused. If you really care you would have words with your politicians about the bribes from the NRA.
But we keep at it.Many of us have words with our politicians regarding all the issues I mentioned. Seems to fall on deaf ears, especially when certain politicians are narrowly focused.
Maybe some day they will listen. But we keep at it.
The improvements you mention cost money. Spending money is what they're avoiding.Of course we care, mrstime. We're always pushing for solutions, we're just kind of split on the best course of action. Yes, I can't tell you how many times I've shot myself.Several revealing charts in this article. USA leads first world countries in gun violence.
Somewhat ironic that Americans buy guns for protection yet they end up shooting themselves. Suicides by gun are almost double homicides by gun.
