Another power outage last night

I sent an email to the mayor and was surprised she answered so quickly (being a Sunday) giving the cause (which I don't understand anyway):

Insulator broke on distribution (4800 voltage) portion and burned pole off. Crews are replacing the pole this morning but can do without interruption.

That went over my head, too. What does "Crews . . . can do without interruption" mean? Does she think you're going to personally go out there and start to pester them? ;)

It's nice that you got a reply; I'm impressed.

Translation: There was a spark, and then some flames, and a pole is down. We're on it.

You're welcome. :giggle:
