Another storm brewing.......

Just on the Weather Channel, a new storm is brewing in the S/Atlantic , and they indicate it is being influenced by a pressure zone? in the Caribbean . They even mentioned the Bahamas being in harms way again. As a matter of fact they are talking like it could be a repeat of Dorian, in terms of direction indicated by the "models" .

Once again, I hope it turns N & east, and blows itself out !

September is a very busy weather month in my neck of the woods. Keeping an eye on this sneaky one. It’s a fast mover compared to Dorian.

Look out Florida....again. Also, there are two more off Africa one at 13N & 38W and the other at 10N & 25W. Three storms total right now.

Here is something a lot of you good folks may not be aware of that happens. When a severe storm, tornado, hurricane, blizzard or large amounts of snow are expected, etc. Whatever the storm, the state police go into overdrive. All Troopers, regardless if you are patrol, investigation or whatever, we must all be prepared to go on duty.

In the past, this has probably happened to me at least a dozen times, but mostly during winter when we are expecting to get dumped on. It's a busy and hectic time. I must admit that our emergency response team has an excellent program in place for dealing with most any emergency.

Just what the Bahamas needed, another storm. I went online to check the outlook on the storm. There were comments. One wanted to know if Dorian was a "male" or a "female" storm. OK.
