Hello to one and all,

Some of you already know me of old, for those who don`t..............I hail from the Rhondda Valley, South Wales, Britain. Once a place of beauty ruined by coal tips, since then the tips have been removed and the land had returned to green pasture, Now once again ruined by WIND TURBINES.

As you guessed, Windmills are my pet hate.

I enjoy DIY and Fishing. My wife and I also do a lot of charity work.

Although I am known as toyboyroy but my first name is Roy, but I will answer to both.

Welcome Roy...I love windmills...wind turbines and windmills are completely different...but hey welcome to SF anyway.. :welcome:

Well Hello Toyboy, and it is lovely to see you here.
And I agree with you over those ruddy WIND TURBINES.
They have ruined the view out at sea here in Rhos On Sea as well.
I wouldn't mind, but the ruddy things are not even turning around a lot of the time.
I HATE THEM!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Anyway...

P.S.

Are you really someones Toy Boy ?;)

Hi, Roy. Welcome to the site.

Wanna buy a few cheap windmills? There are a few spare ones up in this part of Wales. Thwakk! Thwakk! Thwakk!. Stuck on the tops of our beautiful mountains and spoiling the views.
Why couldn't the scientists have worked out how to tap the energy from underground heat sources?

The National Park is so very particular about what you can and cannot build.
You need special building permission to replace old rotten windowframes with uPVC frames because the new ones 'do not comply with traditional looks.'
You want to erect half-a-dozen windmills? No problem, go right ahead.

A big thankyou to all,

Trust me Kenny I`m no Toy,

Hi Joy, yes I remember,

Now Doris you know your always full of petals in my eyes,

Hanf, ever the wind up merchant, Are you going to start up `Who is it`:)

For those who I have not had chance to get to know, I am looking forward to it.

Roy

Welcome Roy, from the California mountains. Lots of people from Wales on here. Supposedly some of my dad's family came to the U.S. from Wales in the 1800s but I like to think that the Binning Woods (which I think is in England) is mine. :)

Welcome to the asylum, Roy, from little ol' Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA - a few windmills but a LOT of hot air! :D
