American Flag is displayed incorrectly hanging on the overpass. That in itself tells me this group does not have a clue.

The world is full of nutballs like West, paying attention to them just gives an undeserved platform...

We have freedom of speech and I think it is good, no matter how stupid some people insist on being. Not limiting them is a good way to expose the stupidity. And not listening is also a good way to limit their impact.

Maybe you weren't listening close enough to the narrator reporting the story. He said something to the effect that this may give others incentive to take it to the next step. Ye has a large following, so yes, it is possible that some other crackpot could decide to support Ye's movement by doing the next horrible thing.

I must have missed something. What's his complaint with the Jewish population anyway? I never figured out how a young man worth over 2 billion dollars could be pissed at the world anyway. Why not just live and let live? Go out and enjoy your money and leave the little folks alone.
 
People in the public eye really should behave more responsibly. A large portion of the population is Muslim and anti-Israel. Actions like this might well stir up the already tense relations between the two.

Adidas is set to cut ties with Kanye West, now known as Ye, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

People familiar with the matter told the publication that the sportswear company could announce plans to end its partnership with the rapper as early as Tuesday because of his offensive behavior.

Adidas said earlier this month that it was reviewing its partnership with Ye, without specifying a reason.

In early October, Ye drew criticism after wearing a shirt with the words "White Lives Matter," a phrase which has been linked to white supremacist groups. Ye told Fox host Tucker Carlson that he wore the shirt because it's "funny" and because he thought the motto was correct.

I totally agree, but I also think it is very important to speak our truth. Just allowing the hate speech to continue and doing or saying nothing because we are afraid gives these nut cases more power. I have thought so much about this sort of thing lately. Nearing the end of my life and seeing the same stupidity that I saw 50 years ago continue is disheartening.

Hating or labeling a group based on race, religion, s****l orientation or the fact that they have tattoos or green hair is my opinion wrong. People who do this sort of thing seem to me to be very ignorant and afraid.

All I know of to do is to keep my mind open, speak my truth and to vote.
