Any fans of "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix?

@Gardenlover I was about to post about this show but found your post. A friend of mine recommended it to me awhile back so I started it about a week ago and am already up to the end of the third season. I guess I am enjoying it too..lol.
 
Good to hear that you are enjoying the show. I am still in the second season.
 

I have watched all that is currently available. My interest was piqued because of a family connection to Dorset in the time of Alfred the Great but I knew sod all about those times. The first series highlighted the interplay between the Saxons and the Danes and the rivalries of the different Christian kingdoms of those times. It stimulated me to learn more by researching using my very old set of Encyclopedia Britannica (still useful for medieval history).

Since then I have been watching for purely fictional entertainment.
 
I put it on my watchlist when I heard that it was a similar story to Game of Thrones which I really enjoyed.
 
I love the last kingdom, It's like vikings. I even preferred it over vikings for sometime, both equally enjoyable
