Any ideas about repairing or replacing a CD player?

What kind of speakers do you have?

There is no brand shown on the front or sides. It might be on the back, but they're too heavy for me to move. We got them about 10 years ago at Best Buy. Why do you ask? The problem is with the CD player, not the speakers.

I was curious, I'm sort of an audiophile, a poor one, but none the less, it's fun for me.
