Any plans for the weekend?

I plan on cleaning, I've let the house go too long. Have to get things done before I leave for my daughters house in Feb.

Hope someone has better plans than I do.

13 year old grandson has a basketball tourney about two hours away on the Coast so we are planning to go to that. Of course, that`s what we did last weekend too. AND the weekend before that. We don`t make them all but we try to make most.

I never pictured myself sitting at sporting events in my "old age" but that`s pretty much what we do. Football season is crazy-we have at least one game on Friday nights and three on Saturdays. People in town are always commending us for being the most dedicated "fan grandparents" but really, it is fun watching them play. They are all really good athletes so it`s exciting. Will be interesting to see what the future holds....grandson #1 married his high school football coach`s daughter last June-the meeting of the two of them was arranged by the coach because he wants football playing grandkids LOL. We`ll see....

Its Australia day this weekend and specially tomorrow there will be functions all over the place in cities and towns..
but we will stay home and maybe take it easy.. watch some events on the tele... and later go for a meal at our local
Leagues club.. but will wait to see how we feel and what the day brings.. but there is a little unrest in a lot of places
at the moment so will be interesting to see if it all goes ok with out any problems.. the main events are held on our Harbour in
Sydney,. but again too many people ... its clearer to watch on tele and not so energetic getting to the venue..

I admit I do that now Rainee, you can see so much more on TV, and you don't get so wet!
It was sleeting last night......

I will do a bit of this, a bit of that, and a little of the other.....

OH, enjoy your ride.....Judi.D, very good on the school thing....
