Anybody have an Adirondack chair(s)?

Adirondack chairs have different names based on the cottage country you’re in. I knew them as Muskoka chairs.

As for comfort, no thanks. They look great on the dock or in photos. Again, no thanks.

The unique , distinct look
with wide 'arms' and a backwards sloping seat
sitting low to the ground.

Are 'they' comfortable?

Yes but you still need a good cushion for your seat and I use another for my back. Sitting is so bad for us.

This was my last set which are not really safe to sit in but I keep them around because they improve photos.

My new set are much more sturdy being made of a resin composite and look better.

they're the same as mine but mine are more of turquoise blue ...and also Resin

My grandpa built 2 of them. We lost grandpa when I was 18. The chairs were always in the yard. Unfortunately when grandma died the heir (my youngest uncle) found poor parents embarrassing, sold the place and everything in and on it. I was too far away to do anything about it. I have no clue where the chairs went.

We have two as part of our fire pit seating. I added seat cushions and find them very comfortable, though as some posters have stated they’re low to the ground. But I have no mobility issues so find them easy to get out of.
