Anyone else having issues with Facebook?

I'm no fan of Mark Zuckerburg but I do belong to FB. I have several groups that I joined, like quilting, reading, cooking, etc. and enjoy them for the most part.

Today, I was in one of my reading groups and was going to make a comment about a book, when all of a sudden, FB took me to the sign-in page and wanted me to give a new password. They sent a code to my email, which was in the spam folder, and I put in the code they sent me and asked for a new password. I got suspicious and quit the page. The address looked legit from FB, but now I'm thinking I got hacked. Any thoughts?

Me too--so wonder what's up??
 
My Facebook did the same thing. Yesterday it happened to other FB friends. My sister just called and said hers is also down.
 

It is not just facebook, there are a lot of the big social media websites down right now, and also some people reporting that their internet is down. Twitter seems to be the main one that is not having any issues at this point, and that is the one i use most, anyway.

Took a lunch break from Yahoo! and came back and saw the article about all of it being down. WHEW!

"From Russia With Love, no doubt. I can smell them."......me, too :) Another election year and I can only imagine what Russia and China have in store for us o_O
 
Everything's fine now. It was gone for about an hour... all of the Meta group. I am so glad I didn't try to start another account or mess with my password... when it came back, I was automatically logged in as always with both laptop and tablet.

Over 500,000 users reported outages on Facebook, according to Downdetector, which tracks website outages. About 77,000 Instagram users and 12,000 Messenger users also reported outages.

How many people actually bother to report that a site is down. The actual number affected will be much higher.
