First sentence--not always, sometimes if someone 'quoted' you they are preparing to disagree.
Second sentence--for some of us online interactions provide contact with peers, keep our minds stimulated, fill what needs (whether great or small) for human conact while allowing us to control how much involved we are and with whom.

Judging from what i've seen you have a life. If you crave more in person contact volunteer somewhere or join a local senior center.

I posted this thread 2 days after I joined the forum nearly a year ago...and I still like it when that notification marker lights up! :)

Of course, sometimes it means I'm 'in the soup' but for the most part it's all good.
