Anyone ever go to Estate Sales? Not to be rude, but I find these quite sad.

Like those glass cannisters with roosters; I have enough 'roosters' to fill an acre. 😂 :ROFLMAO:

That sewing machine is a beauty. One of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. It’ll bring a good price.

I’d buy the scale, except now I avoid these sales.

I held an estate sale after Jack died but was ill-prepared for the hundreds of people that showed up. I couldn't be outside and inside at the same time and my paintings were stolen, a lot of tools, ammo, my bronze sculptures, wonderful books, Western antiques were stolen that day.
How can people DO THAT? How can they steal things?
I was sad for mankind.

Some people are heartless. I am sorry that they stole your items.

I'm so very, very sorry. This is sick and egregious. What is wrong with people. And they do it without conscience it seems.

I've been to very few. I went to one years ago when I was in my 20's. It was in a mobile home park. While waiting for it to open, a man walked by stopped and stated to the line of people waiting "she was a really nice lady." Sad.

I watch some people YouTube who film going to sales. One channel went to this huge house with tons of stuff. All I could think was "oh I'd buy that and that and that."

@Gaer. That’s so sad and frustrating that people did that. There’s a real challenge running a garage sale. You need a minimum of two people, no one permitted inside, your money has to be kept in your fanny pack.

It is sad when you sometimes walk into the bedroom of the deceased and you see all their clothes and shoes in the closet still sitting there like they were still alive, or walkers, canes, or portable toilet.
