Anyone Have A My Pillow?

Wow this is the first I've heard of them. I do not use a pillow for sleeping. I only use pillows to lean on when I am sitting up in bed and any old Walmart pillow is fine for me. We never had pillows when I was a kid (who knows why) so I got used to pillow-less sleeping and really prefer it.

Feathers, gotta have feathers
The cool side of a feathered pillow is s-o-o-o-o-o cool.

Re-confirmed that when staying a La Quinta
Three pillows
Three firmnesses
(great bed too)

A good pillow seems to start at around $40 and go to much more
I’d pay much much more

A goodly portion (5-6 hrs) of my 24 hr day is spent with my head quiescently caressed by a pillow

I so love the word ‘pillow’
When that word enters my mind an involuntary smile creases my brain

Anyway, having sworn off foam, reading these testimonies, and the dryer curing theory, I may try one one day

Couple questions;

If that dryer prep deal is so important, why don’t they come that way?

And, uh, what’s their drool absorption quotient?

Shipping costs. The pillow about triples in size after being run through the dryer. I imagine the shipping costs would as well.

I bought a solid latex pillow just before Christmas. It was $40 but worth it. Best pillow I've had so far. It should last a long time. I had one many years ago, didn't know they still made them. It didn't ever flatten out like the foam ones do. Was going to get a second one, but the price went up to $50 after Christmas! I'll wait. My second favorite is an old down pillow that must be at least 50 years old. You can hear the old feathers crackling when you lay on it with your ear, but I still like it. LOL!

I so agree. Solid latex is the best!

I have six for my bed and four for my couch. They are the best pillows ever made and the price is in line with all other premium pillows. The company has lost one lawsuit a I was notified by mail of a check for $24 is due me.

But he wears a cross around his neck.

And that is the main reason that I would never buy a single thing from him, no matter the quality. Any so called "Christian" that would use the symbol of his faith, and that is what he is doing, that cross is intentionally pulled out of his shirt for display' to drum up business.
A mercenary prostituting his faith!

He wears that cross as he was once a full blown crack addict. He beat it and gives thanks to God, hence the cross.

I am very happy for him that he beat an addiction and that he credits God. It is still a symbol of faith being used for monetary gain. I am sure that he could have that same reminder with the cross tucked discreetly inside his shirt.

Got a great idea! An Easter pillow sale! The commercial would depict Jesus lounging comfortably in his tomb be nestled by "MY PILLOW's", then deciding to delay his resurrection a day or two because he was just so comfortable.

Don't get your panties in a twist, If prostituting one icon is ok,lets go for the whole enchilada!

I agree that he is exploiting his faith to drum up business and that kinda goes against the very faith he's exploiting. But the guy makes a helluva pillow!

I'm pretty much addicted to gel foam pillows. I can't sleep on a feather pillow....I must have a mild allergy to feathers as my nose gets all stopped up. It took some work to find the "perfect" gel foam pillow (I got four of them before I found the right one); heaven help me when this one wears out and I have to find another one. If I'm going to be gone more than a couple of nights, my pillow goes into my suitcase......I'll do without clothes before I'll do without my pillow.

Letting his cross be seen might also turn off many pillow would be buyers, so I don't see him exposing it to drum up buyers. If it does turn off possible buyers, so be it.

A couple of years ago I bought a My Pillow from Bed, Bath & Beyond, it was small and there was no variety to choose from when it came to being firm or not. I hated it at first, but my memory foam pillow was getting hard and giving me neck pain, so I forced myself to start using it. I still use it most of the time, just switch off now and then.

I flip it throughout the night, to keep the puffy side near my neck, and I push the foam with my fist sometimes to adjust the comfort. It's kind of a workout using it, but I don't hate it like I did when I first used it, and my head sunk in the middle and the sides of the pillow wrapped around my head. :playful: I let my husband try it a couple of times, and he refuses to use it.

I'm still using the same My Pillow today, in fact I take it with me on camping trips too. I haven't had any stiff neck or pain since I've been using it, and it is nice to throw it in the washer and dryer and have it refreshed and fluffed.

I bought an expensive down 'alternative' pillow for my husband, simply because the down felt harder to me and he wanted soft and comfortable. It was for side sleepers, which we both are, and it was thick and had a gusset around it. He gave it a good try but it was just too thick for him to use, I tried it one night and I agreed.

I returned it and recently bought him a similar one, which was cheaper $30, less with coupon, and for back sleepers (no gusset), he really likes this one and took it on our recent camp trip. Tonight he's going to switch with me and My Pillow so I can give it a try. This is the pillow he really likes, and he's not easily pleased. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/st...tomach-sleeper-pillow/123681?categoryId=13114

What a shame a person's religious practices offend the New American Gestapo. What inventions are credited to your name? None and /none?
I own ten.

I slept last night on my husbands newer pillow, it was okay, but I liked My Pillow better. He also woke up and said I could have My Pillow back, he still hates it and won't sleep on it again.

I've always been skeptical of 4 AM infomercials/ads. I notice that the "my Pillow" guy wears a conspicuous Christian cross on a chain around his neck, in his TV ads. And I wonder if the "made in USA" is more sales pitch in the same vain. In 2016, there were multiple lawsuits from several states about his medical benefit claims, for over $1,000,000.00. It does seem an awful lot to pay for a foam pillow.

I have a king size medium My Pillow. Medium thickness is about what you get when buying directly from a store. On the My Pillow website however, there are differing thicknesses according to a person's weight mainly. According to that I should have the one with the lest fillings. I really do like mine but not using it because it's too high when I lay my head on it. I don't want to spend money on another one and I'm just going to open a seam and pull some of the fillings out and test how it feels until I get it right for me. I think what the difference might be for some people liking it and some people not, is getting the right size for you.

I agree with this Olivia. When we first got our My Pillows they were too soft, we sent them back and got stiffer pillows with more fill in them sent to us at no charge. Now that we've got the fill setting right, we both have great sleep. The other thing people don't do correctly when purchasing the My Pillows is put them in the dryer on high for 15 mins to activate the fill.
