Anyone Interested in a Coffee Klatch?

Too much trouble
It’s really not. It’s so easy.

You click on the link that Medusa provided and from there you’re pretty much prompted through the whole thing. Try it now…you don’t have to click your way through everything just the link and you’ll see what I mean.

@Ronni, thank you. :love:

@Autumn72, hope to see you there. :):coffee:

I thought it might be fun to have a, say, bi-weekly coffee klatch over ZOOM. -- Hang out, drink something, chat, crochet, make voodoo dolls, solder something...

I took a small (one hour) seminar on how to start a ZOOM Mtg. recently, so can probably, albeit rudimentarily, put it together.
Greetings Everyone,

We have our first Coffee Klatch in a little while, today, Wednesday, (2:00PM US EST) lol. And I'm excited. :)

I think 30 minutes is a good starting off point and, as I mentioned in another post, I do have access to a paid account should we decide we want to talk longer. Or, as @Chris P Bacon mentioned, others of you might have accounts and want to foster meetings as well in order to accomodate more time zones.

In any event, I think we'll have fun.

I have to confess, I was a little worried about no one showing up and myself sitting in front of my PC with my dentures in and my eyelashes curled, sipping coffee and staring at a blank screen for 30 minutes. - Which, when you think about it, is a pretty freaking hilarious picture.

Seriously though come, hang out, let's we what happens. :):coffee:🤯🤭

PS: The invitation link can be found within this thread, and more easily, on my profile page. Just follow the link and the prompts. :) - You do not need a ZOOM account.

Well, that was wonderful! :) I so enjoyed meeting and getting to know you guys, who were able to attend, and am looking forward to our next meeting already.
Also, hoping to meet more of the awesome people on this forum as our meetings continue (and I really hope they do).

BIG THANK YOU to everyone who made it!! Thank you for taking the time out of your day(s). You guys rock the holiday armadillo! :) (What? It's a saying. Somewhere...)

Oh, when I ended the meeting, ZOOM offerred me another meeting with unlimited time if I scheduled right then so I did, two weeks from today, Wednesday, 02.16.22 at 2:00PM US EST, just to grab the extra time. But we can always change it if we want to.

For real. Fun to meet you all. :)

Sorry I missed it. Just saw these posts. Sounds like it was fun! Thanks, Medusa for starting this Zoom Coffee Klatch!
Keep us posted for future meetings.:)
No worries! You can catch the next one (or whichever one works for you) and it will be great to meet you then.
Next meeting is scheduled for, Wednesday, 02.16.22, 2:00PM US EST.
I'll be posting the link closer to the meeting time. :)

K, so, I connected with Matrix about the posting of an informational thread only issue, in regard to @OneEyedDiva's excellent idea of using a separate thread for announcing the meeting times. @Ronni expressed concern (this feels like the minutes of a meetting, lol - which it kind of is), about people potentially using the "Meeting Invitation Thread" for chatting.

The solution, with which I agree, from Matrix is to simply create a new thread for each Coffee Klatch ZOOM Meeting Invitation Link. So, a couple days before each meeting (the next of which is Wednesday, 02.16.22 at 2:00pm US EST) I will create a thread entitled "Link to ZOOM Meeting for," (whatever date we're on).

Should make the link easily accessible for anyone who wants to hang out for a bit.
So come chat for a few and we'll admire each other's cabinetry, @Chris P Bacon ;) :)
