I've seen reports of people paying thousands of dollars for a bottle of some vintage wine. I guess there is no shortage of people who have more money than they know what to do with.

I watched an episode of "Frasier" once where he bought a bottle of something very expensive. He offered a glass to a woman and after taking a sip she got an urgent phone call and had to leave, so she dumped the remainder in the sink. The look on Frasier's face was just priceless.
