Anyone Play the Poweball?

I rarely ever play so please let me have my dream for a few hours !
No problem! I have to admit that when I go to Las Vegas I do occasionally venture into a casino. When I do I put $40 or $50 into one of the Megabucks slot machines. I always loose. I figure that way its over pretty quickly - I don't have to prolong the agony and if on the outside chance I do win, it will be a life changing event!

When I was younger I played a few more of the games. My most memorable experience was on a business trip to Vegas, I did no gambling until I got to the gate at the airport. I put all of the quarters I had into a slot machine and won a $2,000 jackpot, I was shocked, at first I did not understand why the machine had stopped working and started to make loud noises! Didn't realize I had won the big jackpot. Probably did not make up for all of my life time casino losses, but it might have come close. I got on the plane without gambling another nickel, mostly because it was boarding...

I buy a lottery ticket once or twice a week....once in awhile I win a free ticket. Most of the money goes to the state education system, so I just look at the lotteries as a "voluntary" tax which helps keep the property taxes low. The odds are ridiculously high, but I can dream.

Be careful what you ask for, you just may get it :D You have to be in the mind frame to handle winning big...which most of you seem to be. I watch a show called "Lottery Change My Life" and the stories I heard of people wining big. Some people were worst off after winning. I think I will be ok if I won big - it will just be something added to my life because I am already grateful for all I have. I really don't need anything material. However, I would help others which you have to be careful it could backfire on you... speaking from experience.
