My boyfriend keeps a sleep schedule much like yours; he goes to bed around 2:00 or 3:00 am and wakes late morning-ish. It works for us because he's in England and five hours ahead of me in time.

I agree; when you're retired you can keep the schedule that is naturally comfortable for you.

I share you deep love of dogs. Dogs and horses are special, sometimes magical creatures with the power to comfort, heal, encourage, amuse and even save us when we need it. ❤️

Hi @Kaila I slept well last night. I had to take an extra pill to do that but my NP said that's ok. The chili was ok but I actually like it better right after I make it. I have some left and might put it in the fridge. I'm tired of it right now.

That's good your doctor appointment helped you. I hope you have a good evening! I'm feeling on the tired side but it's not from lack of sleep. This old body is wearing out, at least some parts are.

My sleep hours are different, too. They are just according to how late I stay up but also I sleep more than normal at times. I haven't had any good reason to try to change them permanently 😉

You still up? What's going on, what have you been doing. Caught up on sleep? I slept until 8PM last night, so up all night, as usual. Going to stay awake to run some errands in the morning. All the places I have to go open at 8, all within a few blocks of the house, so that will be done. Then I can wait until I feel sleepy to lay down.

I'm still up but I was playing games on my phone. I'm done with that. I've just been eating and sleeping mostly. You're probably doing some shopping 🛒 now.
Do you have any annoying neighbors? I sure have them here. I don't want to get a roommate somewhere unless I am forced to move.

I've been a wreck with that and my dog's passing. I am going to start praying more.

I have some shopping 🛒 to do too. I'll have to walk. My car broke down and I may just have the junk men tow it away. It's a terrible 🚗 car and very old.

I hope you got your shopping done.

@Ruthanne, no not shopping. I have to go pick up prescriptions. I also need to run by the bank to get cash to pay the yard guy when he comes. If I still have energy, may get a hair cut and stop at the thrift store for a look around. I don't need anything but sometimes you get lucky.

I am sorry that you have to worry about the apartment. I don't have that issue but I do have a house that is hard to take care of by myself. Funny thing it is cheaper for me to stay here than get an apartment. With the insurance and property taxes I pay about $600 a month even though the house is paid off. Apartments around here run about $1,000 a month.

My big concern right now is my electric. I have been on a contract the last five years at .06 per KWH. The contract is up in July. I checked the same company and the new rate is more than triple at .20 per KWH. I will have to check and find the best deal I can find.

I also have an old car, 2008, but it only has 41,000 miles. I will drive it till the engine falls out. I tell my grandson it will be his one day. I hope he is a better driver than my son LOL

I know you miss your baby dog. I worry I will have to face that horrible day sooner. My little girl pup is about to be fourteen. Her health is fine now, she really has never been sick but I have been thru it other dogs. I do wish you will find a way to have another pup. You are so right about the cost involved.

I have used my grandson's little red wagon to go shopping when the car was in the shop. You should look for a wagon or trolley at the thrift stores or garage sales nearby. They are very handy!

I need to go get the boring stuff done. Have a great day!
 
@Blessed I have decided it's not something I can do anymore- I'm talking about getting a pup or any pet. The only things I'm caring for now are plants. So many have told me to get another pet but it's not feasible in any way. I'm not going to explain all the reasons why but there are many. :) I've thought about getting a cart but would have to get it on Amazon. I've already saved it to my shopping list. I hope you have a good day, too.
 
Don't worry Ruthanne, the pet will choose you someday, no chance to reject it.

Since then a lil Cotton and 2 Cat's have chosen my home.

That housing situation is awful; they sent you such a letter and with no follow up.

Then, when I had nice ones, I hoped they would.... stay forever, that is.

I wonder if someone would tow your useless car away without a charge. 🤔

Or preferably if anyone would take it away and give you something for it.
That would be great but I don't know if someone does that or not.

I do know a place that gives a little money for junk cars. They gave me 200.00 for my last one and the engine wasn't even good. So I know a place.

I've been trying to get out of a foul mood all day. I'm a little better now.
