I tended bar years ago. We poured it as per customer's request. If it was not specified, I'd create a half to an inch of froth. People seemed to like a bit of a head

I haven't had a drink in a long time, but if I were allowed just one, there was this tiny local pub when I was stationed in Germany.

Best dark lager I ever had.

Growing up with American Lagers, figured those were the norm in beer.
Knew there were European beers like Heineken, but not to my taste.
Then I had my first real taste of British ales, using a 'half-pull' in a pub.

After a Fuller's ESB, it's hard to drink a Bud or the like again.

There's a bottle of Guinness that's been sitting in the fridge since Christmas, not a beer drinker anymore. That said, I will have a wee dram of Scotch or Irish whiskey now and again.

I haven't drank beer or any alcohol since 2013. When I did drink beer, it was never American beer. It was always German beer. My ancestors were both British and German, so I guess it was natural to drink both St. Pauli Girl (beer) and Twinings (tea).

Three pints of light beer sure isn't the same as the "Flatbranch Brewery" beer. They had something like 25 different kinds of beer they brewed and it was STRONG!

I have the Utica Club character beer steins. They are on the top shelf of this display case. Schultz, Dooley, The Countess and Officer Suds.
