Are free home Covid test still available?

I know the US Govt. stopped issuing free kits in Sept. but still see advertisements for free kits, but the advertisements seem like it must go thru your insurance. I have Anthem and have gone all over their site as well as the Syndey health app. and find nothing about ordering test kits. I called Anthem customer service and she assured me the kits are available but had to be ordered thru the app., but couldn't direct me to the proper tab. I even tried the online help chat and got nowhere. Maybe having Covid has put my brain in a fog but I sure can't find the info on the web site.

So...anyone have a source for ordering free kits? Or have Anthem insurance and know how to order the kits off their site?
 

I donā€™t think they are free anymore, at least not in Utah. But you could try your public health department they might be free through there
 

When hubby and I got our Covid and flu shots at Albertson`s in October,we were given 8 free tests each.We were told at that time that we are entitled to 8 free tests every month. Haven`t tried to get any for November though-ended up giving a bunch to our daughter when we went to California.Didn`t feel bad about it because the woman at Albertson`s told us to "share the wealth" with our family,friends or neighbors lol.
 
Turns out my local library has free test kits and gives out four at a time. That's a great community resource!
 
I recently just got my 'four' free covid home tests again through my Medicare ins.

I only test once a month so it lasts me four months each time.
 
I can collect a free box of 10 rapid antigen tests without restriction just by visiting the state government shop front (Service NSW) and asking for one. All I have to show is my driver's license and pension card. I asl for a box whenever I am out and about shopping. Non pensioners have to buy them at the pharmacy.

To visit Hubby in the nursing home I am required to test at least twice a week and free tests are given to visitors if they don't have one. This happens at reception where we sign in for visits. Free masks are also available for visitors.

Most members of the public are only asked to take a RAT if they experience symptoms. My nurse daughter and carers at the nursing home are required to test daily. They are supplied with free test kits.
 
I have a bunch of expired tests that were mailed to me. I've only tested twice - once (positive) a few months ago when I was sick & once (negative) 3 days later when I was better.
