Are Some Businesses Raising Prices Unfairly?

I have to point out that.........Gasoline prices are increasing in MANY countries around the world, not just in the USA. Petroleum is a world wide trade item. The price per barrel floats on a daily basis, just like the price of gold does. The price of gas in the US is not out of line with prices in other first world nations. JImB.
I'm aware that gas prices have been higher in many places around the world vs. the U.S.. I wonder if it's because many other countries have much better mass transportation.

Just because I don't mention something doesn't mean I'm not aware of it.

Much of the price difference country to country is just differences in fuel taxes, or in some countries subsidies. The real cost of the product is similar worldwide.

I'm sure that there are some businesses raising their prices excessively....but with most people paying close attention to prices, now, such businesses probably will lose a lot of their customers. Inflation is showing no signs of slowing down, and the Biggest concern may be a turn into a Recession if more and more people can't afford to support these rising prices.

There are, have been and always will be a few businesses that take advantage of situations.
