Are there songs you find spiritually inspiring (not necessarily of a religious nature)?

Are there songs you find spiritually inspiring

This song was requested by an ancient lady we came to know several decades ago
We first saw her trudging down the sidewalk, pulling a small shopping cart

Huge overcoat
Tennis shoes
Baseball cap

Had to be pushing a 100 yrs

The sign on her cart read RIDE NEEDED

We had to stop
Took her a few miles to a street
She asked to let her out
Told her we could take her home
No

Did this a few times

Finally she let us take her home
One room shack
A bit of a hoarder
Her 'bed' was a wooden pallet and some blankets

Took her home a few times
Got to know her
Quite charming
Was a school teacher (if I remember right)
Never married

Asked her one summer evening, as we sat on her porch, what she desired in life

Just one thing
'To hear the song I Wonder as I Wander one more time'
She told us a story about the song (can't remember the story now)
Anyway, we found a cassette tape of it
Played it for her
Really touched her
Us too

Decided to leave the cassette for her....and the player

Brought her over for thanksgiving
What a delight

Wasn't long after that we didn't see her anymore
Her shack was empty
Put an empty place in our hearts

Anyway, here's the song
Still inspiring to me
For you, Miss McBroom

A beautiful story and a beautiful song. Thank you @Gary O'

Never was a fan of church music. I remember sitting in church with my Mother when I was about 10 or 11, thinking "if we didn't have to sing all these damn songs, we could be home by now". Sadly, that thinking hasn't changed in the intervening 66 years.

I can think of 3 songs that kinda inspire me. The first has already been posted in this thread, and is "Over the Rainbow" by Brudda Iz.

Second is by the Cars - "Let the Good Times Roll"

Third is Peggy Lee - "Is that all There is?"

No need to post links - they are all classics.

He (Ryan Tedder) wrote this for his son to tell him to live his life to the fullest no matter what.

The video is dedicated to 15-year-old Bryan Warnecke (appears in video), a fan of the band, who has cystic fibrosis.

I found this very inspiring. Might not be spiritual, but heart filling.

All Gospel by the Great Al Green-
I cannot begin to even tell you all how much his music, and particularly this song , helped me get through a a very challenging situation long ago, as my Army husband tried to recover from Brain tumor surgery.
Al Green's music also helped me deal with his death. He became a minister and is the pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Macon, Ga.

"Jesus is Waiting" 1973

And of course the Great Aretha Franklin:
1972 "Amazing Grace"

And the Great Barry White:
( Barry White was a young drummer who had to suddenly fill in for a small band's sole singer and he was horrified, as he really had no singing background, and yet he became one of the most popular singers of all time, with all types of songs.

I listen to him almost every day, and asked many to pray for him on his last hospitalization, but he died.
Diabetes does not kill anyone, but it's complications do. And this is what killed him.
This news was on every main TV station, and it is like yesterday to me, but he died on July 4, 2003.

Music can take us out of ourselves to a different place... a place of joy and a place of peace. And it can unite us in many ways.
This thread was a great way for me to wake up to this AM
