In all honesty, I think that jes' maybe Lucifer has stepped up his nefarious time table to the degree that it is now obvious that all the insanity we see can no longer be thought as coming about by chance.

In short, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ and trust the message(s) He came to Earth to share, then really, what was foretold IS unfolding.

As Todd DiLaMuca would say to Lisa Loopner:

"Nothing to be alarmed about."

describe very perfectly and simply what went on and what's going on and what will go on.

Sadly, religion messes it all up, complicates things, and is often wrong, so don't look to religion for answer.

I think that our frame of reference is challenged if not invalidated much more frequently than in more static past times, plus we have information overload. There seem to be fewer absolutes coupled with an increasing rate of change. The cumulative effect can be overwhelming and bewildering…
 
Oh yes, I am bewildered everyday I look at the news. I really feel that my country has "gone to the dogs" and sooner or later there is gonna be "hell" to pay. Them young folks with the fur faces, tatoos, starring all day at smartphone & high expectations about housing and living are gonna have to wake one day and "smell the roses." The trouble them roses is gonna be stick weed. Yap! Those younger generation are sure to end up paddling up the river without a paddle.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to go back 50 years. I wasn't born yet, but I remember my grandparents always talking about the great 50's and then in the late 60's the hippie generation came around and as a little boy, it confused me. I would be thinking why do boys and men wear long hair like women? My grandparents would watch TV in the evenings and when the news would come on and there would be live reporting from Vietnam and they would show planes dropping bombs and napalm, I thought that's something I would like to do when I grow up. But when they showed the men in the jungles or in the fields of tall grass firing artillery, I would think, no, it's not something I want to do. Very confusing time for kids.

I saw this tidbit somewhere......if you give every person on earth one acre of property we could all live within the borders of the state of Maryland. Kind of puts things in perspective.

I like this....human beings are parasites and the earth is our host. Eventually parasites will kill their host or the host will kill the parasites.

I believe the devil is nearing last call. He's taking advantage of the time left before Christ returns. I think we're edging ever so closer to the end of time. But I know believers get mocked for that stuff. So think what you want. I'm just sayin...
 
I think if there wasn't all the gerrymandering then we would move forward better. But, I suppose when things go bad that motivates people to get involved and make themselves heard. At least we don't have to deal with prohibition.
In the 'Elvis' movie I saw today, they had all the turbulence of the past with the civil rights movement and assassinations, so probably every time period has its distressing events.
