Are You "Loyal" To A Certain Brand ?

I started smoking Marlboro's when I was 17 years and smoked the same brand up until I quit around 10 years ago which means that I smoked Marlboro's for a little over 30 years. I would only smoke another brand if I ran out and had to bum a cigarette off a friend or co worker. The only other brand that I can think of that I have been "loyal" too for any length of time is Coke. I know some people only buy from the same car manufacturer while others stick have stuck with the same brand of toothpaste.

I was loyal to Marlboro red during my smoking years, over 30 years ago. My husband is loyal to Dodge/Chrysler products, all the vehicles he's owned over the years with me and before he met me of that brand were good running, reliable and long lasting. I'm loyal to Hellman's mayo, although Kraft will do in a pinch. :D

At one time I was loyal to certain brands until the dollar stores opened up.

Now. I'm trying out different brands of just about everything.

A lot of stuff I was loyal to just isn't available anymore.

Is Hellman's mayo the East coast equivalent to Best Foods mayo ?

Never mind, just looked it up and it is. I guess I am loyal to Best Foods mayo now that I think about it.

I'm loyal to a point, I still challenge/test my loyalties when I see a similar product at a better price.

I still keep coming back to Hellman's mayonnaise, Dawn dish washing detergent and Chock Full O' Nuts coffee.

I'm also loyal to American made products, when I can find them!

I am in some products, but not all. I almost only buy Arm & Hammer Laundry detergent, as I have found it is one of only a couple my husband or I are not sensitive too. Dawn dish soap. And my husband insists on only Hellman's mayo, though I occasionaly will buy me a small jar of Miracle Whip, which he hates. Most other things I buy what is most economical. Dollar store is my go to place for things like shampoos, body wash, lotions and such.

I have been loyal to Craftman Tools in the past. Considering the current state of Sears I'll probably have to break that loyalty in the future.

I am loyal to Smith and Wesson for hand guns, anyway. I also like the Heckler & Koch, Glock and Taurus, but I bought my first S&W when I was a kid and just never felt the need to use any other brand for my .45. As for my 9mm., I would use any of the others.

I'm really not very loyal to any product. I'll buy almost any coffee that's on sale and I do the same with most products. I prefer Hellman's mayo, but I have used others.

Yes there are many products for which in my mind have no substitutes.
Hellmans is one of them
Cottonelle Toilet paper
Dawn dish detergent
Crowelys Cottage Cheese
Hoffmans Hot Dogs
Wunderbar Balogna
Campbell Soup
Ragu Spaghetti sauce
Pyrodex powder

Well there ya go. I really didn't think that I had that many firm preferences, but I guess I do.

Nellie's for washing clothes. It cleans great, costs less (only takes a tablespoon) and no chemicals or fragrances to irritate my skin. It doesn't require fabric softener, but occasionally I will do a load of whites with a mixture of ½ cup hydrogen peroxide and ½ cup washing soda.

Blue Plate and Sir Kensington's both taste better than Hellmans/Best Foods, but I make my own mayo. I adjust the recipe according to how I'm going to use it, but I always use my mother's basic formula of 2 egg yolks to 1 cup of non-GMO oil. All yolks makes a richer mayo.

7th Generation is the best dish detergent I've used so I stick with it. It's been Americas Test Kitchen's pick for quite a few years.

Charmin bath tissue, although I wish they would quit making the rolls narrower. If they keep at it, the tissue is going to be an inch wide.

Puffs with Lotion for facial tissue.

Valhrona cocoa
Ghirardelli's 60% Cacao Bittersweet chocolate chips
KAF organic flour
Nielsen-Massey vanilla

When I use to smoke,my favorite brand was Winston, thank God I gave up that terrible habit 30 yrs ago.
I've always liked:
Hellman's light mayo
Thomas English muffins
Colgate toothpaste
Dawn dish detergent
Friendly's or Perry's Ice Cream{those who live in/around WNY area will recognize this brand}
The one walking shoe I swear by is New Balance, only store I can find them in my size is at Kohl's Sue

Yes. Hellmann's mayo. Dawn dish detergent. Seventh Generation free and clear laundry detergent. Colgate Total toothpaste. Scott toilet tissue. Tried and true!
