It just hit me @gruntlabor . You need to add this to your quote of the week thread. Where did that go BTW.Nothing wrong with my weight. It's my lack of height that is a problem.

That's around the same amount I'd like to lose! It's harder when you're older and don't do a lot. Not that you don't do a lot. It's me that doesn't do a lot or enough to take off more weight.I'd like to lose 50 pounds but I like to eat and I don't have the energy to workout with the physically demanding job I have.
That's funny: Winter Eating Season! LOL. It's like that for me, too, and many.My weight is my last unresolved bit of baggage.
I make progress during the summer months and backslide during the winter eating season.
Walking has been as much,if not more, help to me as restricting calories.
The good news is that I am making progress.
I would like to achieve an acceptable balance and be able to maintain my weight if I become housebound and forced to lead a sedentary lifestyle.
The important thing for me is to keep making progress while still finding room for a few of the foods that I enjoy.
Good luck, take your time and be kind to yourself.
It’s not about losing the 20 pounds as much as it is making a lifetime change in the way that you eat.
