Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Snowpiercer was a TNT series based on the movie of the same name.

About Snowpiercer:

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.

I've only watched S1E1, but the production quality looks good and it feels like there is a solid story to it.

I caught it on Sling FreeStream, a recent free-with-ads service added to Sling TV:
No Subscription Needed — Watch Sling for Free. Always Free TV & Shows You’ll Love. No Credit Card Needed.
What is Sling Freestream?

We thought Sling TV’s Sling Freestream would be just like other ad-supported free live TV streaming services like Pluto TV, Tubi, and Xumo Play. We were excited to see that it is and isn’t.

As with the other free streamers, Sling Freestream features a mix of live TV channels and on-demand content, including TV shows, movies, kids, news, and sports programming. The selection is a rando assortment of older movies and TV shows with unskippable ad breaks. You won’t find the latest Marvel flicks or cable hits like Mayans, but sci-fi cheese like Mega Snake and all 110 episodes of ’90s biker drama Renegade? Sling Freestream has ’em.

We just started Dexter, the 2013 version. I’ve only seen one episode and it’s pretty jarring. I don’t know if I can watch all these gruesome scenes. Considering it lasted for 8 seasons and has rave reviews, maybe it’s worth continuing. I don’t know if I’m up to it.
I loved Dexter but, grusome scenes seem not to bother me. Some storylines were not as good as others which is often the case but, I am glad I stuck with it to the end. :)

Thanks, @Trish. I‘ll give it a few more tries. Michael C. Hall is an excellent actor. He never ages.

Just watched "The Man From Earth" - know its free from Prime, maybe other places too.
Really made you think!!!
I remember watching this when it came out. It was only released in two theatres and finding it became pretty hard. But at some point before the DVD release they made it available for free online from their own site.

Good story, but it makes some people uncomfortable and it makes some angry.

I know some people will resist this….but if you give it a chance “the last dance” is absolutely fantastic. It is about basketball….but so very very well done. Loved it.

I watched that during COVID. I think it came out around the same time as the tiger trainer show. Forgot the name of it now. I enjoyed The Last Dance. I was not a Bulls fan but it did bring back memories of the times when I did watch the NBA.

"Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" - good series. I had been holding off watching the last episode of season 4 but tonight I finally let it run. Prime Video.

The Tourist. Season 2. Just started. It was originally set in Australia and now is being done in Ireland. The lead actor didn’t want to be away from his family. It seems more black comedy than I remember than in the first season.

Well I really got into Snowpiercer myself but didn't realize that only season 1 is available free with ads to me. The ads on Sling FreeView have been pretty few and far between though.

I'll watch the last season 1 episode, then wait until season 5 finishes in September. Then subscribe to AMC+ for a month to binge the remaining 3 seasons. Right now they want $8.99 a month, so I hope there is something else worth watching there as well.

Gonna start watching the latest Game of Thrones on Max since it ends Sunday. Don't like being tied to once a week, I forget by next week. This new one, the prequel, I don't even remember the first year. I loved the original one so much. Best thing I ever saw, except for Sopranos, number one series in my book.

Need more zombies? Z Nation has you covered. 5 seasons, maybe 6 by now. Seems to be streaming everywhere, can even be found on YouTube.

"Here baby. Here baby, baby. Come to Papa."

I have been watching a German TV show named Kleo on Netflix. It's about a female Stasi agent who is falsely charged with a crime and is imprisoned a couple of years before the fall of the Berlin Wall. She is released soon after that happens and goes on a revenge spree. It's fast paced, goofy, and at time the plot makes no sense but I am enjoying the ride. The soundtrack along with the scenery is an extra bonus for me.

Just finished up season 2 of The Tourist. A Netflix Australian/Irish series. Very black humour that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was rather hard to follow. It was left with the possibility of a third season. Nothing has been decided.

Season 3 of 'The Mallorca Files' starts today on Prime Video! British lady detective and German guy detective team up on island of Mallorca, with a Spanish boss lady. A lot of fun people dynamics wrapped around the murder of the week. If you enjoy 'Death in Paradise', you'll like this one. The first two seasons are there now.

Binge watching Suits on Netflix. I thought I had watched most of it, but so far season 3 has been a blank for me. I'm on season 4 now. I remember binge watching an entire season on a free weekend after I gave up my cable. IIRC, I didn't watch the later seasons, so that will be new for me.

I was going to try this one. Have to pay extra for it. Not happening.
