Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Just finished up The Undoing on Max/Crave. Six episodes in this 2020 David E. Kelly mini series. Nichole Kidman and Hugh Grant. Very tense.

I finished watching Emily in Paris. It was a silly soap-opera-like show. I need some diversion of late, so I'm going with it. I may watch it again actually. The clothes are beautiful. The people are beautiful. The food looks beautiful and delicious. It's nice eye candy. The last episode ended on a cliff hanger. Supposedly there's another season coming up, releasing the first half in August and the second half in September.

I'm actually searching for something like it. Something that doesn't get serious or gritty. I'm considering Jane the Virgin.

I watched Emily in Paris too, for a while. Then, I just kinda flaked out on watching it.
Have you seen Virgin River? It's an ongoing series. Has romance, beautiful scenery and people.
Netflix.

I started watching Your Honor on Netflix. It's one of those shows that is a total mess but I keep on watching it. The concept of the show is good, the acting is very well done for the most part but the writing and execution is almost laughable. There is one huge plot hole that makes everyone look stupid but is needed to keep the show going. It's only two season so I will probably trudge through it just to see what happens but it's hard for me to recommend to anyone.

Thanks!

Virgin River was literally my last binge watch. I kept rewatching it. It was slightly more serious. Lots of crying and angst. It was getting me slightly down so I switched to Emily in Paris. It's a bit more light-hearted.

I also watched Emily in Paris. I did like the first season not so much after that.
I like Virgin River. As you said, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.

I started watching Hijack starring Idris Elba on Apple T.V. It also features Archie Panjabi and I really like her. She plays a similar role as an investigator of disasters in Departure, which aired 2 seasons on Peacock. Peacock is not carrying S3 unfortunately. I hope I can find another way to watch it.
I just watched Archie Panjabi in Under the Bridge (Hulu), and loved her.
That's the first time I've seen her in anything.

OED, she was an investigator on The Good Fight too. It’s so frustrating when you can’t find follow up seasons on shows you like.
Thank you for letting me know. I tried the "How to watch....." search and it erroneously showed that I could watch Departure S3 on Prime and a couple of other platforms, but that isn't the case. Prime said "not available in your location" but it also gave purchase options. :cautious: I won't purchase a season. I'll check another time, maybe with better luck.

@dobielvr Thank you for mentioning Under The Bridge. I'll have to check that one out too. I'd seen her years ago in San Adreas and the series Blindspot, but couldn't remember where else I'd seen her until I Wiki-ed her. There's just something so likeable about her.

I'm trying out a bunch of series to see if one of them sticks. I've tried Dead to Me (weird), Partner Track (snooty), Ugly Betty (sad premise) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (slapstick). None of them spoke to me. Perhaps I'll go back to one of them later. In the meantime, I think I'm just going to go show-shopping for a while.
