Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Watched a couple of good series, but probably most forum members don't have AcornTV or HBO.

"Art Detectives" is a charming series about crimes committed around fine art. There are 6 episodes, and the male and female detectives have pretty good chemistry. No gutter language or sex. On AcornTV, or Amazon for a rental.

"Task" is a 7 episode crime drama on HBO. It stars Mark Ruffalo, and the superb Tom Pelphrey. It plays weekly starting on Sept. 7. If the first episode is any indication, it'll be one of the better ones this year. Ruffalo plays an FBI agent put in charge of a rag-tag task force trying to suss out a string of robberies committed against drug dealers.
I have AcornTV....I watch The Heart Doctor (over and over and over)lol.
I love that guy!

I do like a good binge watch.
Series like 'the Big Bang', NCIS, Game of Thones and the like take a good deal of time /days though (I'm currently getting through 'Spooks' - (from 2002 = 10 Seasons) and flicking through 'Cheers - (1982 = 11 seasons) so more of a guily pleasure.
Shorter series mind (2/3 seasons) I can get through in a weekend.

One of these days I'll get around to Bridgerton Season 3. It took me a couple of years to finally watch the first 2 seasons. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the series, because I didn't think much of the books. I read them all, but ended up only keeping the two "Lady Thistledown Diaries" in my permanent collection.

I enjoy romance historicals but feel there are a number of better authors than Quinn. But the simplicity of her stories is precisely why it translates well into visual media, especially when the casting and costumes are so well done. Adding POC to the cast was a great twist, too.
That series is worth watching just for the costumes, if nothing else!
