Are you the "Martha Stewart" type? Is a nice, neat home a "good thing"? Are you the domestic type? Or are you like most of us?
We have dishes. So, no need to eat off the floorI used to be a Martha Stewart .. keeping a perfect house. You could eat off the floors. Sparkling clean windows. Home-made birthday cakes for everyone. Etc, etc.
Not like that, anymore.

This is an exaggeration, of course!![]()
Convicted with jail time for fraud, when she ran out of recipes she talked about her cheating 25 years ago when she was married and Sports Ilustrated cover in a gold moo-moo.As a German I had to look it up who Martha Stewart is.
Did she have enough time to care for her homes by herself?
agreed !...and I don't know who Martha Stewart is..Everything doesn't have to meet Martha Stewart's standards, but at the same time, I can't cope with clutter, unwashed dishes, and things out of place.
I'm not quite like that... altho' I like the place to look decent...I like to keep a very organized, clean, and uncluttered home. So does my husband. He likes cars therefore our car is always spotless as well. "His" garage is meticulously kept.
I also like drawers, dressers, and closets nicely organized.
As a part of our numerous moves, I remember a realtor asking us if we really lived there!
isn't she the one who went to prison for tax evasion or similar ?As a German I had to look it up who Martha Stewart is.

My husband was a batchelor when I met him... he was much more of a neat freak at home than me ..and my car is spotless, but you can literally eat your food off the floor of his Maseratti...I was never a domestic queen….but hey you marry guys who were bachelors and the bar is pretty low. Whenever I used to expect company I would look around and wonder what others saw. Then for a time I just told people I was going to put a paper bag over their head when they came into the house. The house I spend most of the time at is neat…most of the time. Bathroom is clean…
She spent 5 months in federal prison. She lied to federal investigators regarding inside trading.isn't she the one who went to prison for tax evasion or similar ?
She got a tip from her stock broker that something was about to happen. Apparently a stock broker is like an insider. If he were an actual insider, he never would have known what was up. But I don't know all the details, either. But government had to do something about flagrant insider stock trading, but most of those guys are big players and considered off limits. But as a show of commitment to regulating the market, they nailed Martha Stewart. She was a good choice. She was very well off, harmless and helpless. That showed us little people that government took stock manipulations and informed trading seriously.isn't she the one who went to prison for tax evasion or similar ?
She has (or had?) TV shows on cooking, home decorating, gardening tips, etc., and was regarded by some as an icon. She later fell into disfavor. [While I was writing this post, I am noticing that JustDave has posted more details about her troubles.]agreed !...and I don't know who Martha Stewart is..
