I love these! The owner of a gallery in Mill Valley that shows my wife's work has a yearly show she calls Material Matters which features ev very manner of art and craft. I know she'd love these too. I'll look to see if I can spot some photos from these.

Here are a few

Talented (and lovely) lady, thanks for sharing her work.

Such an imaginative picture. It reminds me of the artwork of Gaza Bowen. An artist who made real shoes but with unusual materials. Wish I could find more images of her work but she died of cancer some time ago and I find almost nothing of hers online now. But here are two. I thought this first one especially was pretty humorous.

During the summer before the lockdown, my wife and I were visiting a street fair, similar to a street market except the goods on offer are more of an artistic flair. There was hand made clothing, model toys, household bric-a-bras and much more. One of the stalls was run by a fellow name of Richard Watkin. He was displaying some of his paintings, like these.

That's my car I said with surprise. Richard introduced himself and said that he had seen the car at a classic car meeting that had been held on the quayside in the town of Poole in Dorset. We got talking and Richard said that he did commissions, so I had him do one of the car. In keeping with the car's age, Richard depicted the car at a garage at a time when you would have been served by an attendant. Your fuel tank would have been filled, the car's windows would have been cleaned, the tyre pressures checked along with a check on the engine oil byway of the dipstick. Those were the days. This is what Richard came up with. If you want to see more of his work just go to Watkin Art.
